Hello everyone,
Welcome to the Bitcointalk Fund.
This page brings together the fund’s purpose, donation information, and records of contributions and fund activity. The aim is to support the Bitcoin community and its long-term sustainability.
Transparency matters. Published fund updates should make it clear where contributions go and how funds are used. Transaction records and allocation information belong alongside those updates.
For questions about the fund, please contact support.

- Check the address in the wallet directory. An address marked TBA is not available for donations.
- Match the currency and network. A Bitcoin address is not an Ethereum recipient, and an exchange may offer several withdrawal networks.
- Review the full recipient address on your wallet’s confirmation screen. Clipboard substitutions and impersonation can redirect a payment.
- Keep the transaction ID for your own records. Never share a wallet seed phrase, private key, or exchange password.
Questions about donations
Where can I check a transaction?
Use a block explorer for the network you sent on and search for the transaction ID. A public transaction shows an on-chain transfer; it does not by itself establish how a fund spent the contribution.
What does TBA mean?
The address has not been published. Do not substitute an address from a private message or another website.
Do contributions provide an investment return?
This page does not offer an investment product or promise a financial return.

Reading fund records
| Information | What to check |
|---|---|
| Transaction reference | The currency, network, transaction ID, and amount transferred. |
| Use of funds | The purpose of an expense and its supporting documentation. |
| Reporting period | The dates covered by a report, rather than assuming a figure is a current balance. |
| Wallet balance | A dated on-chain balance is different from total contributions or total spending. |
On-chain records and written explanations should be read together. A transfer between wallets is not necessarily a donation or an expense.
Questions about a published record can be directed to support. Include the relevant transaction reference, not private wallet information.
Thank you to everyone who continues to contribute to the Bitcoin community.
