Reading fund records

InformationWhat to check
Transaction referenceThe currency, network, transaction ID, and amount transferred.
Use of fundsThe purpose of an expense and its supporting documentation.
Reporting periodThe dates covered by a report, rather than assuming a figure is a current balance.
Wallet balanceA dated on-chain balance is different from total contributions or total spending.

On-chain records and written explanations should be read together. A transfer between wallets is not necessarily a donation or an expense.

Questions about a published record can be directed to support. Include the relevant transaction reference, not private wallet information.

Corrections and questions

A useful reporting question identifies the record, the transaction ID where applicable, and the detail that needs clarification. Never include private keys, wallet recovery words, or account credentials.

See Fund Updates for announcements and published records. This independent page does not establish endorsement by Bitcointalk.org.
