Preparing a contribution
- Read the fund overview and check the available reporting information.
- Select the exact currency and network listed with the recipient. Do not send a token on a different network because an exchange offers a lower fee.
- Confirm that the full address is available. TBA is not a recipient.
- Review your wallet or exchange fee separately from the amount the recipient will receive.
- Compare the complete address on the confirmation screen before signing.
After sending
Keep the transaction ID, date, currency, network, amount, and recipient for your own records. A wallet’s “sent” status may precede on-chain confirmation.
Use the appropriate explorer to check confirmations. Do not resend automatically because a transaction is pending; first inspect its status using your wallet’s official guidance.
