Common questions about contributions, wallet information, and public fund records.
Is this operated by Bitcointalk.org?
No. Bitcointalk Fund is an independent community page, not operated or endorsed by Bitcointalk.org. The Administrator label refers to this fund page.
Can I donate right now?
Donation addresses have not been published. BTC, ETH, and SOL are marked TBA in the wallet directory. Do not send to a substitute address.
Which currencies are listed?
The directory lists Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Solana (SOL). A listing does not mean that an address is available. Always check the currency and its network together.
Where are totals and spending records?
No donation totals, balance reports, or spending records are currently published. See Transparency for record status and Fund Updates for announcements.
How can I check an on-chain payment?
Search its transaction ID in an explorer for the correct network. Check the recipient, amount, and confirmation state. A transaction alone does not prove how the funds were used.
Are donations an investment?
No investment product or financial return is offered on this page. A contribution should not be made in expectation of a profit.
Is a refund guaranteed?
No refund policy or guarantee is published. Cryptocurrency transfers are not normally reversible. Resolve any uncertainty before making a payment.
What information should I keep?
Keep your transaction ID, currency, network, amount, and date for your own records. Never share private keys, recovery words, or account passwords. Read Security for safety checks.
